Skeddadle Setters has been utilizing the best of the breed to produce outstanding English Setters for over 15 years.  We started by acquiring breeding stock from top programs across the country.  We have used this foundation to build an exceptional breeding program over the years.

Our dogs are tested on a wide variety of game birds across the western United States.  Skeddadle Setters are proven to handle multiple species in a wide variety of terrain.  They possess the intelligence and cooperation to adapt their application and range to be effective in any type of cover.

We also test our breeding stock in National Shoot to Retrieve trials.  Skeddadle Setters have won multiple major National Shoot to Retrieve Championships.  You may not be interested in competing your dog but NSTRA trials are a great indicator of hunting ability.

Our goal is to produce a very natural dog that requires minimal training.  We look for exceptionally staunch dogs with natural retrieve.  Skeddadle Setters are also great family companions.  We breed  dogs that are calm off-task or in the house.
